Easy recipe for two 13 year old girls to make for dinner??

me and my friend want to make dinner for my family tomorrow night. we don't know what to make. its for about 4-7 people...

(i'm having a movie night and peeps mite get hungary so left overs are good!!!) we prefer somthing mexican but italian or anthing else is good too!!!Easy recipe for two 13 year old girls to make for dinner??
I would definitely recommend ';homemade'; pizza and a big salad....buy pre-made pizza crusts from the grocery store (you can get them refrigerated or vacuum-packed--like Boboli), get a few cans or jars of pizza sauce, some pre-shredded mozzarella or ';Italian cheese blend,'; and whatever toppings you like (diced pepperoni is WAY better than the thin slices, and I like canned mushrooms better than fresh). After you put together the pizzas (which is fun and easy), they take about 10 minutes to bake. During that time, you can throw together a few bags of lettuce, some chopped tomatoes and cucumbers, and Italian dressing. Voila....everyone loves pizza!Easy recipe for two 13 year old girls to make for dinner??
Here are some things I and the fam have had recently and loved

its sooo good you will be very satisfied.

for desert: FRIED OREOS!!! here we go:

1) go to supermarket and but some pancake miz and a box of oreos

2)beat pancake mix, as if making pancakes. it shuldnt be very thick, or very runny like in the middle.

4) ur going to get some oil in a really deep pan and fill it up with oil like half way up. put the oreos dipped in pancakes in and leave in there untill you see it frying, or you see the pancake ';rising'; or when you see that the oreo has a golden look

5) get large plate, put paper towel and put the fried oreos on it to absorb excess oil.

Chuletas:

2 cups Saltines, finely crushed

3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 cup Vidalia onions, chopped

1/2 tsp garlic powder (not salt)

1 lb ground chuck (beef)

1 egg

1 tsp salt

1 tsp chili powder

1 cup oil (for frying)

Garnish:

Rings of red onion, slices of avocado, sour cream and sprigs of cilantro

Combine all Salsa Fria ingredients. Refrigerate for at least one hour.

On a sheet of wax paper, evenly spread cracker crumbs. Combine parsley, onions, ground meat, garlic powder, egg, chili powder and salt in a small bowl. Form 4 patties and coat each pattie with the cracker crumbs evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (but no more than 3 hours) to thoroughly chill.

Heat oil until it is hot enough to brown a 1 inch cube of bread in a little over 1 minute. (Don't get oil too hot or center of patties won't cook through). Fry patties in oil well browned on outside and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

Serve on a bed of iceberg lettuce with a few rings of red onion, topped with Salsa Fria and with a dollop of sour cream with a sprig of cilantro to the side and a slice of avocado.

TRUE MEXICAN TORTILLAS

3 cups water

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil or lard

2 pounds flour

1 teaspoon salt

Heat the water, baking powder, vegetable oil or lard, and salt until it's hot, but just not too hot, just hot enough so that you can touch the water and not be burned.

In a large bowl, pour in the water mixture and add the flour a little-bit at a time until you are finished with the remaining flour. Make sure to mix the water mixture and flour together well. You should have a smooth and elastic dough. Do not use a machine to mix the dough (use your hands).

After mixing the ingredients, cover the dough and refrigerate for about 15 minutes. (This will make the dough easier to work with).

Then take out the dough and heat up a ';comal';, or if you don't have one, simply use a pan. A cast iron skillet works well.

While the pan is heating up, start rolling the tortillas. Sprinkle a small amount of flour on the rolling surface so that the tortillas won't stick.

After they are made, start cooking them. When done, keep them warm in foil paper, or like it's done in Mexico, with a soft towel.

Good luck with this recipe. This will show if you have a little Mexican in you.

1 medium onion, chopped

1 can of diced tomatoes

1 small can corn

These are some easy recipes you girls can make anytime. You would probably have to double the recipe if you serve closer to 7 or more.

Chicken Alfredo

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 jar of Alfredo sauce

Spaghetti noodles

This is a pretty quick recipe so start boiling the noodles first.

Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Cook in olive oil or margarine/butter until done. Add Alfredo sauce and heat thoroughly. When noodles are done, drain them and serve alfredo sauce on top.

**If you want you can add some fresh garlic, salt, or parmesan cheese to boost the flavor a bit.

Pizza casserole:

1 lb ground meat

1 (15oz) jar of pizza sauce

1 (12 oz) bag of egg noddles

1 (8oz) bag of mozzarella cheese

Brown the meat and drain. Boil the noodles, drain well. Put the meat and noodles in a large mixing bowl (or back in the pan you boiled the noodles in to save on dishes) and add pizza sauce and 1/2 bag of cheese. Mix well and pour into a greased 9x13 ( I use Pam spray) Top with the rest of the cheese and bake it in a 350* oven for 20- 25 minutes. Serve

Poor Mans Stroganoff (this isn't really a casserole but it is cheap and good)

1 lb or so ground meat

8 oz container of sour cream

1 can cream of mushroom condensed soup (we use cream of chicken cause we don't like mushrooms)

Brown the meat and drain off grease. Add sour cream and condensed soup (no milk) heat thoroughly and serve over cooked noodles or rice.

Tator Tot casserole

1 lb ground beef

1 can green beans ( we use corn)

1 can cream of chicken OR cream of mushroom

1 can water or milk (we use milk)

Tator-tots to cover the top of dish

shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Brown the beef, drain and put into the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. Combine green beans or corn, cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup, and the water or milk in a medium bowl. Pour the mixture over the beef. Put Tator-tots on top to completely cover the mixture.

Bake in a 350掳F oven for 25-30 minutes, or until Tator-tots are lightly browned and crisp. Sprinkle shredded cheese if desired over the top and bake for 5 more minutes.
