Does anyone know some easy recipes for lunch that two 13 year old girls can make easily?

Thank you if you answer this, these are just some things that you may need to know before you give us your answer:

- One of us is a vegetarian

- We don't want any recommendations like toast or something

- Please could it be quick and easy (and yummy:))

please and thank you:)Does anyone know some easy recipes for lunch that two 13 year old girls can make easily?
Homemade mac %26amp; cheese is always a favorite!

Quesadillas (cheese filled between two corn or flour tortillas and heated [both sides] on a med.-hot pan). Fillings can vary (like those vege-meat crumbs %26amp; cheese; cheese and spinach; cheese %26amp; jalapenos, just to name a few filling ideas...)

Wraps filled with egg white* scramble, sliced mushrooms %26amp; cheese (similar to what Einstein Bagels has...if you have one of those locations nearby, check out their menu, really good and easy to make)

*(don't know how strict this person is with being a vegetarian...some eat eggs, some don't.)

Stir fry vegetables %26amp; brown rice.Does anyone know some easy recipes for lunch that two 13 year old girls can make easily?
Quesadillas! Put cheese on half a tortilla and microwave. You can eat it just like that or, if you want more substantial, add meat or beans, tomatoes, onions, green chiles, or hot peppers - any combination is delicious. Serve with salsa. Some nice cold fruit is a good follow up.

Make a big salad with a vinaigrette dressing, and add shredded egg or canned tuna and an extra squeeze of lemon.

Mac and cheese or spaghetti is always good, again with salad or fruit.

Do it yourself pizzas - either buy a premade, precooked crust or use english muffins, and add pizza/spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese, and any toppings you want - pepperoni for the meat eater and diced peppers and mushrooms for the vegetarian. Bake in the oven 10 mins until cheese is gooey.

Bean dip - Put a can of refried beans in a square baking dish. Season with garlic salt, cumin, and hot sauce. Heat in the microwave 1 min. Add cheese (optional; guacamole is great too) and nuke 1 more min. Then layer on salsa, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, onions, and sliced olives. Eat with tortilla chips.

stir-fried vegetables, cooked very quickly in a lightly oild, very hot wok, retain vitamins better than vegetables cooked the traditional american way. hot and sour or wonton soup, steamed dumplings, rice stuffed cabbage or peppers, borscht or fruit soup, knishes (pastry filled with spinach, kasha, or mushrooms.

salade nicoise, spinach salad (sans bacon) consomme' and other stock based soups, stews such as bouillabaisse or ratatouille, poaced or steamed fish or seafood, seared or oven roasted scallops or salmon, dishes with sauces
I recommend going to a nearby pizza place and asking if they'll sell you some dough (just enough for two pizzas). Roll it out as thin as you like. Use a jarred pasta sauce or a can of crushed tomatoes for the base, then add mozzarella (the pre-shredded works well). You can then add other toppings to your liking. Bake at 450 degrees until the cheese is melted and the crust has started to brown. Good luck!
homemade mac %26amp; cheese is always good! and it's pretty fast and easy. but if you want something that doesn't require cooking, try cream cheese and veggie wraps/rollups (you can add deli meat too if you like) - they're really good!

veggie fajitas

Ingredients

- 1 pack of tortillas

- 1 red, 1 green, and 1 yellow pepper

- 2-3 cooking onions

- store bought teriyaki sauce

- sour cream

- salsa

- cheese

1. First I cut the peppers into strips and the onions into rings.

2. Melt a little margerine in a large wok or frying pan.

3. Toss in the onions and fry until half cooked (about 3-5 minutes)

4. Add the peppers and continue to cook until desired crunchiness

5. Add about 1/3 of a bottle of teriyaki sauce. You have to make sure to buy a thick teriyaki sauce (a lot of the thin ones are really salty - mostly soy sauce) Stir it in over the heat.

6. Put together your fahitas.

Rice Pie

1 uncooked prepared pie crust

2 cups of rice

1 vegetable bouillion cube

1 bag mixed frozen vegetables

1 cup grated cheese

Boil up 2 cups of rice as directed, with a vegetable bouillion cube and stir in a bag of mixed frozen vegetables. I like to use the ';California Blend';. Pour it all together into the pie crust, top with cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. It's delicious and you don't miss having no meat at all!

Potato Burgers

Form leftover mashed potatoes into patties. Dip into beaten egg %26amp; then into breadcrumbs. Let sit in fridge for one hour. Fry in a bit of oil until brown on both sides %26amp; serve immediately. Always end up falling apart. (i'm not sure what I've done wrong) I serve between 2 slices of bread %26amp; TONS of egg salad spread.

Egg Salad spread

Mix a crumbled hard cooked egg w/ 4TBSP of mayo %26amp; a TB of any or all of the following: diced onion, parsley, tofu %26amp; mashed beans

What bout a vegetarian jambalaya or lasagna? or you can make some nice tofu and veggies stir fry or a delicious spinach lasagna. Mmmmm

And on the side you can make some delicious salad or garlic toast.

This is a tasty lasagna;

1 pound eggplant, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds

1/2 pound medium fresh mushrooms, cut into 1/4 inch slices

3 small zucchini, cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch slices

2 sweet red pepper, cut lenthwise into 6 pieces each

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 (15 ounce) container reduced-fat ricotta cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup egg substitute

1 (26 ounce) jar meatless spaghetti sauce

12 no-boil lasagna noodles

2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

3 tablespoons minced fresh basil

Coat two 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pans with nonstick cooking spray. Place eggplant and mushrooms on a prepared pan. Place the zucchini and red pepper on the second pan. Combine the oil and garlic; brush over both sides of vegetables. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes. Turn vegetables over. Bake 15 minutes longer. Remove eggplant and mushrooms. Bake zucchini and red pepper 5-10 minutes longer or until edges are browned.

In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese and egg substitute. Spread about 1/4 cup pasta sauce in a 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Layer with four lasagna noodles (noodles will overlap slightly), half of ricotta cheese mixture, half of vegetables, a third of pasta sauce and 2/3 cup mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with half of basil. Repeat layers. Top with the remaining noodles and pasta sauce.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until edges are bubbly and cheese is melted. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting
