...evening meals...? most pasta dinners are tasty and inexpensive... speghetti, sauce some garlic bread... Chicken leg and theighs, rice and a veg... inexpensive and good... ground beef with the ';helper'; stuff and a veg.
I would suggest a couple of delicious vegetable omelets-- some mushrooms, bell pepper, green onion, eggs, and cheese... maybe a slice of toast or two.

Delicious AND healthy. :)
Sauerkraut (preferably cold kraut not in a can)

Brauts

Heat the Kraut, cooked braut together. Done. If you'd prefer vegetarian use Boca Brauts.

Could probably feed 4 and spend less than $8.
There are great ideas for two under $8. Anything with hamburger will be cheap and good. Try tacos, meatloaf, or spice it up and try breakfast for dinner. Pancakes, french toast, waffles. Plan a theme and make it fun.
Pap calls it his Italian Chicken recipe

Really it will be under $8 if you already have olive oil %26amp; Italian

bread crumbs %26amp; seasoning. My grandfather came up with this recipe. You take however many chicken breast boneless, skinless you'll need, message the olive oil into each chicken breast then get the Italian bread crumbs %26amp; put them on the chicken. You can put Garlic salt %26amp; pepper to your liking. Set the oven to 350 degree's fahrenheit %26amp; bake like that for 1 hour watching the chicken. You don't want it to get dry. You won't need to turn the chicken over. After an hour they should be perfect.

You can also do the same to porkchops., boneless, skinless. Also healthy
For Seafood

Pan Fried Salmon 1 pound maybe about $5.99 slice it in half to accomodate 2 people

Broil some Tomatoes in the oven $1.50

Then top the salmon with butter %26amp; mayonaise season with salt %26amp; pepper ( You can go to any burger joint %26amp; ask for Mayo in small sachet for $0 )

Or Tuna Pasta

Can of Solid white Tuna $2

Campbell Mushroom $1.50

Fettucini $2

Arizona Ice Tea -$2 for 2
