I need recipes for two things, can you help me!?!?!?

I need a recipe for egg drop soup. I have never made it but want to.

Also, I need a recipe for easy homemade crab cakes.

Both recipes need ingredients that are common. I live in a SMALL town with one grocery store that does not carry the uncommon stuff.I need recipes for two things, can you help me!?!?!?

In a heavy skillet, fry crab cakes in butter (or olive oil), turning once until both sides are nicely browned (about 10 minutes).
Egg Drop Soup

Basically egg drop soup is just

Chicken soup that you bring to a good boil and add some cornstarch to until slightly thickened (depends on how much broth you have) Reduce heat to low, and slowly drizzle eggs into boiling stock, stirring constantly to separate into ribbons.

(how many eggs depends on how much soup and if you like it real eggy). Then add some chopped scallions and a couple of splashes on soy sauce. Serve right away. enjoy

Crab cakes.

For crab cakes I usually just add some mayo a little bit of mustard Chopped red pepper, egg and salt and pepper.

Roll the mixture into cakes and coat in the bread crumbs and fry in olive oil. When the mood strikes and the pants fit a little loser I add some butter to the olive oil. Yummy. enjoy
